1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, and delivery or billing address;
- order information, product choices, customisation details and communications with us;
- payment status, amount and transaction or payment reference;
- IP address, browser and device information, referring URL, pages visited and website interaction or event data;
- cookies, similar technology identifiers and advertising or campaign-attribution information.
2. Payment information
Website payments are processed by CHIP. AFS3D receives information needed to manage the order, such as the payment status, amount and transaction or payment reference. We do not ordinarily receive or store your full card number or online-banking credentials when these are entered and processed by the payment provider.
3. How we use personal data
We use relevant information to:
- accept, verify and process payments and orders;
- produce customised products, arrange delivery and provide order updates;
- answer enquiries, provide customer support and handle product issues;
- protect customers and our services from fraud, abuse and security threats;
- operate, troubleshoot and improve our website and customer experience;
- measure website use, campaign performance and advertising attribution;
- optimise advertising and conduct remarketing or retargeting;
- meet legal, accounting, tax and record-keeping obligations.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses a PHP session cookie for essential functions such as maintaining a secure session. Essential cookies operate regardless of your optional tracking choice. With your permission, we also use cookies or similar browser technologies connected with Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for analytics, advertising measurement, campaign attribution and remarketing.
On your first visit, you can Accept All or Reject Non-Essential technologies. You can change that choice later using the Cookie Preferences control in the website footer. Rejecting prevents future browser-side Meta Pixel and Google Analytics tracking; it does not automatically delete data transmitted before a preference was changed. You can also control or delete cookies through browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may affect website features.
5. Meta Pixel
We use Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, on the storefront and confirmed-payment page. It helps us measure advertising performance, understand actions following ad views or clicks, create advertising audiences, optimise campaigns and support remarketing or retargeting.
Browser events currently include PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase, and custom colour and size selection events. Depending on the event, data can include page visits, product or selection information, order value and currency, browser or device signals, IP-derived information and Meta cookie or attribution identifiers. AFS3D does not receive your Facebook account password or a direct view of your private Facebook profile through the Pixel.
6. Meta Conversions API
When you submit an order, we record the analytics and advertising consent state applicable at that time as part of that order. If that snapshot is accepted and CHIP later confirms payment, our server may send a Purchase event to Meta through the Meta Conversions API for measurement, attribution, advertising optimisation and event matching. Rejected, unknown and legacy orders do not enable this advertising event. Essential payment and order processing continues regardless of this choice.
The event contains the purchase time, order value, MYR currency, order number, website source URL and a shared event identifier. The customer's phone number and email address may be normalised and SHA-256 hashed before transmission. When browser tracking is accepted, the same Purchase event identifier is used by the browser event and server event to help Meta deduplicate them. The order snapshot is not silently changed if you later change your browser preference. Hashing is a protective measure, but hashed identifiers remain data that may relate to a person.
6A. First-party funnel analytics and order messages
We keep a limited first-party funnel record to understand stages such as visiting, starting a custom design, generating a preview, selecting a size, beginning checkout and completing verified payment. Funnel records use an anonymous session hash and limited product or stage information; they do not duplicate your name, email, phone, address or custom text.
After verified payment or a genuine shipping transition, we may send necessary transactional order or delivery messages. If you have provided the applicable marketing consent, an unpaid order with meaningful contents and contact information may qualify for a limited cart-recovery email after a period of inactivity. We re-check payment before sending, limit each recovery stage, and provide a recovery-marketing unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from recovery marketing does not suppress required transactional messages.
7. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-3M4BGMCY35) to understand visits and use of the storefront, such as pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate location, and browser or device information. Google may process identifiers and interaction information according to its own privacy terms.
8. Advertising and remarketing
Meta and other advertising technology providers described in this Policy may use cookies, pixels and event information to measure campaigns and show more relevant advertising after you visit our website. The advertisements you see and the controls available to you may also depend on your account or device settings with those providers.
9. Service providers and data sharing
We do not sell personal data in the ordinary meaning of selling customer lists or details for money. We may disclose relevant data to providers that help us operate, including:
- CHIP and other payment providers used to process or verify payments;
- courier and logistics providers used to deliver orders;
- website hosting, cloud, security, email or communications providers;
- Google for website analytics;
- Meta Platforms for advertising measurement, optimisation and remarketing;
- professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
We limit sharing to what is reasonably needed for fulfilment, payments, shipping, support, analytics, advertising measurement, security or legal obligations.
10. International processing
Some technology providers, including Meta and Google, may process or store data outside Malaysia depending on their infrastructure and service locations. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps when selecting and working with providers and handle transfers in accordance with applicable requirements.
11. Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed to fulfil orders, provide customer service, keep accounting or tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. Different records may be kept for different periods.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and any permitted exceptions, you may contact us to request access to or correction and updating of your personal data, withdraw certain marketing consent, or ask questions about how your data is handled. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Where we send optional marketing communications, you may opt out using the method provided in the message or by contacting us. We may still send necessary transactional communications such as payment, order, delivery or customer-service updates.
13. Children's privacy
Our website and custom 3D printing service are not specifically directed to children. A parent or guardian should place an order and provide personal data where a child is involved.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted on this page with its updated date.
